Months on the wait list:
On our seventeen month waiting anniversary, we ate a delicious Ethiopian meal in a restaurant in Oklahoma City.
If you live in the area or drive by the area, please go eat at this amazing restaurant. It was extremely yummy and they are fixing to change their menu to a buffet style menu.
(We pinky promised we would return.)
We started with the appetizer sampler.
Ethiopians usually serve the food in a big plate in the middle of the table for everyone to share but because we each ordered the vegetarian sampler, we each got our own plate.
This pose was our beautiful Ethiopian waitress's idea :).
Oh Ethiopian food, how I love thee.

We haven't eaten there yet, but need to. We have eaten at Queen of Sheba in OKC many times. Are you all in Oklahoma? I had thought you were in San Antonio.
ReplyDeleteHi Zach! We are in San Antonio but stopped by OKC on Friday afternoon :). We wanted to go eat at Queen of Sheba since it had great reviews but they didn't open until 4 pm and that is when we found Blue Nile. We did not regret it!! We were the only ones eating there though. They told us they were changing their menu to try to get more customers. It was seriously delicious!! Let me know how you guys like it if you go eat there :).
DeleteOh, I see. We'll definitely check out Blue Nile sometime. Let us know if you're going to be back in Oklahoma any time. It would be nice to meet you all in person - and we could recommend another hotel for you. :)
